Minecraft Aether Legends (2025)
I had the pleasure of working as an environment concept artist on the reamagination of the classic Aether dimension. It was a collaboration between The Aether team and Spark Universe.
I also did some promotional illustrations that were used on Spark Universe's social media.
Aether Legends by KADRI Studios
Moreover, at KADRI we created this animated teaser to promote the release of Aether Legends on the Minecraft Marketplace.
We show the arrival of Karthuul to the Aether, as he reshapes the lands that will then be explored by the player.
I was responsible for the storyboard, background art, texturing of models and some additional 2d animated effects.
Evil Eye
While I do take inspiration from Brazilian culture and folklore, I plan on making this project something unique and with no creative limitations. What I can tell you so far is:
It's a story protagonized by Caipora, an elf of the forest who seeks revenge on the ones who burned Brazil (a magic tree and core of the forest). She finds out eventually that the ones resposible for it are part of a crime organization financed by a terrible witch, Cuca.
Minecraft movie live event (2024)
At Spark Universe, I worked for about 3 months as a environment concept artist for mojang's new live event, that could be played for a limited time on Minecraft bedrock in promotion to the upcoming movie.
My goal was to come up with interesting places the players could explore and hang out at, while following the theme stablished by the movie.
